BLUEBELL PATH – ANDY BEST

I have chosen Andy’s forest and bluebells picture which expertly captures this seasonal forest scene. This is a restful image with the bluebells in the foreground and the two majestic trees creating a frame for the path to travel through, inviting you to the forest beyond. Both the bluebells and the trees have prominence in the picture but neither wins out, creating a very pleasing balance to the image. The image is well-executed with perfect exposure and sharpness and benefits from an overcast sky which prevents distracting shadows and allows the full detail in the image to be seen, particularly in the two prominent trees. Very well done.
