URSUS MARITIMUS by Iain Burke

Oliver Wright showed a wide range of photographic subjects in his talk to our group last month, split mainly between summer time spent in the UK, and winter in the snowy lands of Northern Sweden. Iain Burke also had to travel to obtain his image “Ursus maritimus”, which I’ve chosen as the new “Picture of the Month”. The photo is well exposed, and the bear is nicely posed. It’s a great photo of a well-fed Polar bear, still showing signs of its last meal. Great photo, Iain!
