CHAIR SQUARE by IAN HUGHES

As there is no theme for the open gallery, the very wide potential range of images, encompassing travel, landscape, wildlife as well as abstract subjects, makes for a difficult decision. Of the three that for me stood out, I’ve chosen Chair Square by Ian Hughes as the new picture of the month. It stood out for me because at first sight it’s symmetrical, but on closer inspection the chairs are in slightly different positions, and the curtains are mostly, but not entirely the same. Looking at the image I feel I’m almost standing in front of the building itself.
