BLACKPOOL-ON-SEA by CHRIS CHANDLER

My choice is Chris Chandler’s photo of Blackpool. I love the ethereal mirage-like quality of the photograph, and it makes me think of Venice across the lagoon or seeing one’s destination in the distance welcoming you at the end of a long voyage. I particularly like the contrast of the sea and the paler silhouette of the outline
of the buildings with the space in between.
