CONCENTRATION by HARRY PINKERTON

My photo of the month is of Phil by Harry. I found it difficult to choose a ‘picture of the month’ from the Portrait Gallery, as there were a lot of good ones and they were very varied in subject / style. It is amazing how there can be some many different picture ideas coming from what was a set-up studio situation. I really liked the pose captured in Harry’s image, his framing, his use of colour and the real sharpness of the essential elements of the picture – particularly the eyes and eyebrows. The glint in the eyes and the silvery hair are great.
