THE BIG DRIFT by IAIN BURKE

Firstly, thank you to Ian Lively for choosing my picture as his favourite last month. I was spoilt for choice this month.
I chose Iain Burke’s “The Big Drift” for June. It is a superb minimalist image, with a great use of thirds in a square format. The ripples from the bottom right lead the eye nicely to the ridge, and up to the wisp of sand blowing off the top. A really pleasing image – well captured, Iain.
