MISSED by IAN LIVELY
There were several pictures I thought impressive, but I finally decided on Ian Lively’s Missed for picture of the month. Taking images of fast-moving objects is very challenging and requires much skill; Ian has certainly succeeded. It is sharp, shows great action and there is a touch of humour as the fish escapes. The water droplets help to give a sense of speed. I always like to see a bird in action, however, I also liked Angus King’s Robin. It’s a lovely picture of a garden bird and the story Angus told helps to make this photograph special. The colours in the image are beautifully soft. I think this would make a super card!
