A chance to travel on the iconic Settle and Carlisle railway to spend a day in Carlisle. Further details will be communicated in due course.

Our only competition of the year. Each member may submit up to two entries - any combination of prints and digital images. Please indicate uploads of PRINT images with a "P" in the title.

This year's judge will be Max Malisan.

Please volunteer to help your group at this wonderful fund-raising event. Help from members is needed for many activities, from setting up at 9:30 onwards, manning stalls and refreshments throughout the sale, then clearing up after the public have left later in the afternoon. Please see details in the Newsletter, where you will also find a link to an on-line form to indicate how and at what times you can contribute to make this day as successful as last year's sale. Lots of volunteers required to help with the setting up of our annual exhibition during the morning. Framed prints should be delivered between 11.00 and 11.30 please.

Join with other members on our opening night to preview this year's images.

Our exhibition is open to the public from 10.00 to 17.00 during these three days. Volunteers will be sought to assist with stewarding to make this yet another celebration of our group's work to be proud of.

Again, we need the help of members to dismantle the exhibition and store everything away safely. We will organise a celebratory dinner for later in the evening - details in due course.

John will share his images documenting life in the former coal-mining towns now that the industries have gone.

Will the salmon put on a leaping display for us? Also a chance to walk to Catrigg Force for further photo opportunities.

Share you best image from the recent practical evening.

Following last year's success, we will again review 30 images from Harbour City Photo Club in Canada. We will also look at images from the "Practical Evening" gallery.

There should be something for everyone in this presentation, from beginners to the more experienced members.

Every year we ask members to take an interesting image for the gallery at our Jacob's Join. It may be an everyday item taken from an unusual angle, or just something a little out of the ordinary - it's your chance to amuse and baffle the audience.
