Like it or not, AI is here to stay (and has actually been around in our cameras and software for many years). Hopefully we will learn ways to embrace the newer technologies as they continue to advance.

Two sources of inspiration for your gallery image this month. Which will you choose? Or maybe a combination of both?

We will receive feedback from Harbour City Photo Club on 30 SPG images. We will also review the "Inspired by Christine Widdall or Martin Litchfield" gallery.

Oliver will share images from Sweden, Svalbard, Bulgaria and Yorkshire, including landscape, aurora, macro and wildlife photography.

Hopefully the weather will be kind and we can enjoy the first signs of springtime.

With such a broad variety of images, surely all members will be able to find inspiration in at least one of them.

Two or three members will will volunteer to talk about a topic, a visit, a technique or something else of photographic interest. Please make this event a success by putting yourself forward to a member of the Programme Committee. We will aslo review the "Inspired by Oliver Wright" gallery.

Please note that this meeting has been moved from its usual 1st Monday of the month slot in order to avoid Easter Monday. Submit your favourite digital and/or print images of the year for critique by external judge Colin Williams. You may even get a high placing and a well-deserved round of applause.

Hopefully the bluebells will be blooming for us in the woods. If not, Ilkley is a fascinating town to explore.

Anything goes in our gallery this month. The choice is yours.

An important annual event to review the year and elect the committee. Perhaps you might like to put yourself forward and help the society continue to flourish. We will also review the "Open" gallery.

Members are challenged to produce an image inspired by the Yorkshire-born artist, Barbara Hepworth.

One of our members, Brian Blinkhorn will talk to us about how he spends a day out with his camera. Perhaps other members may volunteer to do the same in the future. We will also review the "Barbara Hepworth" gallery.

Members are invited to submit an image inspired by the works of Bradford-born artist David Hockney.

Our member, Angus King, will give a presentation "Arctic Light. A race to the magnetic North Pole and four winters in Northern Finland". We will also review the "David Hockney" gallery.

We have a unique opportunity to visit Arla Foods in Settle. This replaces the previously planned outing to Haworth. Further details will be communicated to members nearer the time.

An opportunity of a private tour of English Heritage's Stott Bobbin Mill if there is sufficient interest from members. The website will be updated when we have more details.

As announced at our Members Meeting on Monday 15 June, the "Lady in the Van" gallery has been cancelled and has been replaced by "Learning Through Lenses". Our next meeting (20 July) will be dedicated to the review of these images. We will work in groups and will have plenty of time to discuss and constructively critique each image. Please submit one image that you would welcome feedback on. It doesn't need to be perfect! There is no set theme for the gallery.

Please note that this gallery closes on a THURSDAY and not the usual Monday.

A whole evening has been set aside to discuss members’ images. We will work in small groups, with plenty of time to consider, discuss and to provide constructive criticism on each image. Please submit your chosen image to the gallery by 23:00 on THURSDAY 16 July.

Please ensure your images, titles and size information are uploaded according to the guidelines communicated by the Exhibition Committee.
